The Philippine National Police (PNP) on Wednesday expressed confidence that the court would grant their request to accept the viral video of the Tarlac slay as evidence.

However, the person who took the original video is still hesitant to testify in court, according to Philippine National Police chief General Debold Sinas.

“Kasi sa ngayon hindi pa ‘yon na-offer as evidence dahil ‘yong kumuha at tsaka may-ari ng video ay parang alanganin pa,” GMA News quoted Sinas as saying.

The suspect, Police Master Sergeant Jonel Nuezca, has been charged with two counts of murder for the brutal killing of Sonya Gregorio and her son Frank.

The incident stemmed from the use of ‘boga’, an improvised canon-like noisemaker.
