The Ministry of Health and Protection (MoHaP) recently conducted 152,146 COVID-19 tests that led to the discovery of 944 new cases, bringing the total number of confirmed COVID-19 patients to 201,836.
The ministry also reported two patients who have died due to complications from COVID-19, which brings the country’s total death toll to 657.
MOHAP also reported 1,265 individuals who have already recovered from the coronavirus disease, with the total now at 178,672.
This brings the total number of active cases lower from 22,830 to 22,507 as of December 28.

The first batch of Pfizer-BioNTech’s COVID-19 vaccines shipment from Brussels has arrived in Dubai and based on the photos shared by the media office, airport staff can be seen offloading the shipment and shifting it to SkyPharma facility.
