Oman is set to reopen its land, sea, and air borders starting from Tuesday, December 29.

A statement posted on its government Twitter account advised that prior to entry, all individuals coming from overseas will be required to present a polymerase chain reaction (PCR) test valid within 72 hours.

Another PCR test will be taken once visitors and/or residents land at Oman’s airports, added the statement.

Earlier, Oman closed their borders for one week as a preventive measure against the spread of a new coronavirus strain that originated from the UK.
