The Philippine National Police (PNP) said they are now expediting the process of the dismissal of viral ‘killer cop’ Police Senior Staff Sergeant Jonel Nuezca, who killed his two neighbors.

The PNP has 30 days to issue a dismissal order against Nuezca.

“’Yung dismissal ni Nuezca ay ongoing na po. Ginagawa na po jointly ng NCRPO at ng IAS. Tinignan kung sana mapabilis yung pag-dismiss niya,” PNP chief Gen. Debold Sinas said in a press conference in Pampanga.

“I could assure the public na idi-dismiss namin siya before 30 days deadline na tinatawag po namin. So before that one, madi-dismiss na po siya,” he added.

Nuezca went viral after shooting and killing point-blank his neighbors Sonya and Frank Gregorio after a heated confrontation.

The mother and son were laid to rest on Sunday in Paniqui, Tarlac.
