The Bureau of Immigration said that they will be implementing the resolution from the Inter-Agency Task Force for the Management of Emerging Infectious Diseases (IATF-EID) to track UK travel history among passengers arriving to the country, following the recent implementation of United Kingdom (UK) travel ban effective December 24.
According to BI Commissioner Jaime Morente, the resolution bans all flights starting tomorrow until December 31.
“Consequently, effective December 24, all passengers who have been to the United Kingdom in the last 14 days are temporarily restricted from entering the Philippines,” Morente said.
