A customer ran amok and attacked a waiter who spilled tea on him.

He reportedly lost him temper and attacked the waiter, who was only identified as an Asian man, with a knife.

The infuriated customer reportedly grabbed the remaining tea and fiercely splashed it over the waiter’s body.

The waiter had an exchange of heated argument with the customer who also cursed and insulted him. During the spat, the customer attacked the man with a kitchen knife on the table.

It caused partial disability on the waiter’s left arm.

The customer’s friend also allegedly threatened the waiter saying he would find a way to cancel his work visa if he would file a police report.

The two defendants were apprehended by the police for assault charges.

The case was referred to Dubai Public Prosecution.
