The coronavirus disease (COVID-19) has now reached all continents with a total number of 80,331,940 confirmed cases as of posting time.
The United States of America reported the highest number of cases at 18,981,130, accounting for 24% of the world’s total. This is followed by India that reached 10,169,118 and Brazil at 7,465,806.

The Philippines has a total of 469,005 cases while the UAE has 200,892 cases as of posting time.

Death toll
The world’s death toll currently stands at 1,757,016. Of this number 331,902 or 19% of the world’s total comes from the USA, followed by Brazil at 190,795 and India at 147,343.

The good news is that recoveries account for 64% of the global total confirmed cases, which is currently at 56,911,211. USA has the most number of recoveries at 11,410,501, followed by the India at 9,761,538. This is followed by the Brazil at third with 6,475,466.
