President Rodrigo Duterte is cracking down on corrupt government officials and ghost projects with a reward money for informants.

In a late night speech on Tuesday, the President said he will eradicate corruption until the end of his term.

Duterte also disclosed some names of officials from the Immigration Bureau and Department of Public Works and Highways who were suspended and terminated due to alleged corruption activities.

To further boost his anti-corruption campaign, Duterte said he will give P50,000 to P100,000 to anyone who can give him information on corrupt officials and their dealings.

“All you have to do is to let me know. May prize ako. Pagka mayroon kang malaki, if it’s a malaking sindikato, ghost project ni Direktor [expletive], I’ll give you P50,000,” Duterte said.

The bigger the fish, the bigger the cash reward the informant may receive, he added.

“I’ll give you P100,000 and I’ll keep your identity secret until I reach my grave,” said Duterte.

The President said that it’s open to the public and any informant can give tips even without disclosing their identities.

“At kung nalaman kayo tapos hinaharass kayo, paalamin mo ako. I will deal with the devil. ‘Yan ang gusto ko, bumaril ng tao na ligal,” he added.
