Nearly 800 job vacancies are now available at one of Taiwan’s leading semiconductor manufacturing companies, with positions available for qualified overseas Filipino workers.
The Department of Labor and Employment, through the Philippine Overseas Labor Office in Taichung City (POLO-Taichung) announced that 779 workers are required by the Silicon Precision Industries Co. Ltd. (SPIL).
“The vacancies are contained in the Job Orders of SPIL that were submitted to POLO-Taichung mid this week for verification,” said Labor Attache Fidel Macauyag.

The POLO-Taichung advised interested applicants to sign up at the following Philippine Recruitment Agencies: Grand Placement & General Services Corp., MIP International Manpower Services, Inc., and JS Contractor Incorporated, as per reports from the Philippine News Agency.
Macauyag is hoping for an early easing of travel protocols and limitation on the number of inbound passengers in Taiwan so that the prospective OFWs awaiting deployment may immediately work in Taiwan.

The company’s products include advanced leadframe and substrate-based packages, which are widely used in computers, tablets, cellular phones, set-top boxes, and LCD monitors.
The company also manufactures wearable devices, smart appliances, IoT, fingerprint sensors, smart cars, VR/AR, artificial intelligence, drones, smart speakers, digital cameras, and video game consoles, among others.
