Two Saudi nationals linked to the terrorist group ISIS were arrested by authorities in Cotabato City on Wednesday.

In a GMA News report, the arrest was conducted by the Philippine National Police. An improvised explosive device was found with the suspects and several materials for making IEDs.

A search warrant has been issued by Sultan Kudarat’s Regional Trial Court Branch 19 Judge Allan Edwin P. Boncavil Isulan to allow authorities to search the suspect’s room.

The two Saudi nationals are linked to ISIS-East Asia subleaders who are attempting to bring Arab nationals to the country.

Five assorted passports, one alien certificate of registration, two passbooks of savings account, a laptop, cell phones and credit cards were also confiscated from the suspects. (TDT)
