A 31-year-old Asian rent collector in a flat in Dubai is now in police custody after he was charged for beating a man to his death.

The suspect, according to local reports, was also working as a barber.

He allegedly locked up the victim’s room to make it appear empty when authorities made a surprise visit. At that time, the victim was inside the room and had no option but to wait till the inspection is finished.

While the inspection was ongoing, the frustrated tenant allegedly drunk inside his room. When the suspect unlocked his room, the victim yelled at him and it turned into a brawl.

The victim fell unconscious due to the beating he suffered. He later on realized that the man was dead. The suspect fled the scene.

The owner broke the apartment’s door to find the victim dead on his bed. Police had immediately apprehended the suspect.
