A woman in Zambia filed a case against her boyfriend for eight years for not marrying her and even wasting her time in their relationship.

According to local reports in Kenya, 26-year-old Gertrude Ngoma asked a Zambian court that she was tired of waiting for her boyfriend named Herbert Salaliki to propose to her during their eight year relationship.

“He has never been serious, that is why I bought him to court because I deserve to know the way forward and our future,” she told the court, according to Mwebantu.

The woman said she is doubting her boyfriend Herbert Salaliki’s loyalty and claimed that she discovered her partner having an affair with another woman.

Gertrude and Herbert have a child but living separately. She lives with her parents while the boyfriend is living independently.

The man told the court he was not financially ready to marry his girlfriend.

The court said that the couple should settle their issue personally and leave the court out of their relationship problem.
