A man was prevented from boarding a plane at the Ninoy Aquino International Airport via a Philippine Airlines flight after he presented a medical certificate that he is positive for COVID-19.

The crew of the PAL check-in counter called the attention of NAIA Terminal 2 authorities and a medical team immediately responded.

The man said that he was swab tested in Cavite and took the test as part of the requirement for travelers.

The passenger said he arrived at the airport on December 20 and waited for his flight the next day.

Airport authorities contacted the Imus health authorities and he was picked up for medical attention.

It’s unclear if the man knew about his results or not. (TDT)
