Individuals who have contracted the coronavirus disease (COVID-19) remain eligible to receive the free COVID-19 vaccine in Dubai, but must still meet one requirement.

An official document from the Government of Dubai Media Office states that the individual must be a resident or citizen who has passed three months since the individual was first diagnosed with the virus.

“Yes but He/she will need to take the vaccination after three months from the date of infection,” said the document.

Dubai’s COVID-19 vaccination drive is ongoing, giving priority for Emirati and resident elders aged 60 years and above, people with chronic diseases, people of determination, frontliners and other essential workers.

The Dubai Government Media Office shared six facilities of the Dubai Health Authority where residents can get their free COVID-19 vaccine. These include Zabeel Primary Health Care Centre, Al Mizhar Primary Health Care Centre, Nad Al Hamr Primary Health Care Centre, Barsha Primary Health Care Centre, Uptown Mirdif Medical Fitness Centre and Hatta Hospital.

Appointments are required. Dubai residents can register and book appointments for vaccination through the DHA app or the DHA’s toll-free number 800 342. Residents must also provide a Medical Record Number (MRN), and those who have yet to secure theirs should email info@dha.gov.ae and provide them with a copy of Emirates ID (front and back) as well as their mobile number.
