Dubai tourists will be welcomed by a ‘happiness card’ upon their arrival at the Dubai International Airport.

The General Directorate of Residency and Foreigners Affairs in Dubai announced on Thursday that tourists will be receiving the Al Saada Tourist Card, a free discount card giving access to exclusive privileges, discounts, and promotions during their stay.

The cards will be distributed in the airport for free, according to Khaleej Times. The application will provide the user a full list of promotions and the card will expire once the tourist leaves the city.

Major General Mohamed Ahmed Al Marri, Director-General of the GDRFA, launched the card during the 40th edition of GITEX Technology Week.

“This initiative was launched as part of the country’s commitment to providing an exceptional experience for visitors,” Al Marri said.

Earlier, Emirates airline announced that is offering all passengers visiting Dubai a complimentary stay at JW Marriott Marquis. The offer runs from December 6, 2020 until February 28, 2021, and will be valid across all booking classes.

The airline’s Economy Class passengers will receive a free night’s stay, while passengers flying First or Business Class can enjoy two complimentary nights’ stay at the modern JW Marriott Marquis.
