A number of personalities slammed the viral video showing a policeman shooting and killing a mother and her son in Paniqui, Tarlac.

In a police report, the Tarlac Police identified the suspect as Cpl. Jonel Nuezca.

Based on an initial investigation, the suspect arrived at the victims’ house identified as Sonya Gregorio and Frank Anthony Gregorio.

A brief confrontation took place and the police shot them point blank at around 5:10 p.m. Sunday.

“Justice sa lahat ng nawalan ng mahal sa buhay dahil lang sa init ng ulo ng ibang tao. It’s not fair,” Alessadra De Rossi said.

Senator Risa Hontiveros said that no one has the right to kill innocent lives.

“Saan papunta ang lipunan natin? If a law enforcer & father can feel so invincible that he thinks it’s his RIGHT to murder an unarmed mother & her son.. W/o missing a heartbeat. Infront of his child. Shot them in the heads. Binaril pa yung bangkay dalawang beses. #StopTheKillingsPH,” she said.

“If what’s on video tells the whole story, I enjoin the Philippine National Police leadership to show no mercy. They should spare no effort to make sure that he rots in jail. He’s the last policeman that they need in the force,” Senator Ping Lacson said in a statement.
