The Federal Authority for Identity and Citizenship (ICA) in the UAE has announced the extension of the grace period for for residency visa violators until December 31.

Major General Saeed Rakan Al Rashidi, Director General of Foreigners Affairs and Ports at ICA stated that the extension applies for residency visa violators whose visas have expired before March 1.

All visa violators who fall under this updated extension will be exempt from fines, provided that they leave the country.
