Ajman Police took custody of a 68-year-old woman for about four days and help her to return to her home country after landing in the UAE by mistake.

Authorities found out that the woman fell prey to a bogus travel agent. She was supposed travel to another Arab country to visit her son.

Lieutenant Colonel Yahya Khalaf Al Matroushi, Head of Al Hamidiyah Comprehensive Police Station, said that the woman came to the police station and told about her situation.

The police secured the woman’s belongings and looked for a place for her while the investigation is ongoing.

Police officials also processed his repatriation.

The family of the woman expressed their gratitude to the UAE police.
