Two women in Florida, USA were issued trespass warnings by authorities after they tried to get a COVID-19 jab for the second time even though they were not eligible to get it.
Both women seemed to have disguised themselves as “grannies” in video footage obtained and released by ABC News.
In the video, they were wearing bonnets, gloves, and glasses while onboard a black car when they showed up at the Orange County Convention Center.
A deputy in the video can be heard admonishing the two for their “selfishness of stealing a vaccine” from someone who needs it more.

Another deputy also informed them that their names will be flagged using the vaccine software and warning them that they would be arrested if they do it again.
The two had presented valid vaccination cards.
Dr. Raul Pino, director of the Florida Department of Health in Orange County, said during a press briefing that they don’t have any idea yet on how they got the first jab.
In a statement, the Orange County Sheriff’s Office said they were given trespass warnings after their dates of birth “did not match those they had used to register for the vaccines.

They were identified as Olga Monroy-Ramirez, 44, and Martha Vivian Monroy, 34.
Pino said the county has since increased security at the vaccination site to “deter any possible ill-intentions that someone may have”.
In Florida, only those age 65 or older are eligible to get the vaccine. This is aside from the health care workers and residents and staff of long-term care facilities. (ES)
