The Chinese military aircraft which carried the vaccine doses of Sinovac Biotech pharmaceutical successfully made a safe landing at the Villamor Air Base at 4:15 PM today, February 28, 2021.

This is 15 minutes earlier than the scheduled 4:30 PM arrival, according to the report from the live coverage of state television company PTV.

President Rodrigo Duterte is set to personally received these doses in a simple ceremony that will be held today.

The Chinese government donated 600,000 doses at no cost to the Philippine Government.

This is the first batch of COVID-19 vaccines that have arrived in the country. (ES)
