The Abu Dhabi City Municipality announced the completion with the maintenance work the UAE capital city’s central bus station, which costs AED3.9 million.
According to a statement, it said that the project involved asphalt maintenance works at the station, which is located on Hazza Bin Zayed Street, next to Al Wahda Mall.
The new facelift of the structure gives commuters a “spick and span look” feels.
The facility, built in 1989, offers public transport facility to and from Abu Dhabi.
There are public buses, minibuses, and taxis for the capital city, within the emirate or other emirates.
It was the Infrastructure and Municipal Assets Sector of the municipality that made the maintenance work possible. (ES)
