More CCTV footage is sought by the family of Christine Dacera to further reveal details on her death on New Year’s Day, their lawyer said on January 7.

In an interview with ANC, lawyer Jose Ledda III said that the clips shown on media reports and online do not show the entire view of what happened prior to her death.

“We are also asking for additional footages from different angles of the hotel because what the public saw in the social media, in the news items was a view from a particular side in that hotel,” he told ANC.

“Our position right now is that for us to have a complete view and an even deeper understanding of what transpired during those times, we must be provided with CCTV footages that are not exclusive in that particular angle,” he added.

The CCTV footage currently circulating on social media shows the flight attendant kissing a guy in the corridor of the hotel in Makati. The lawyer said it does not affect the case as it shows only one angle of the events that took place.

He added that the autopsy report saying she died of ruptured aortic aneurysm also does not negate the possibility that “force and intimidation were used” against her.
