Janella Salvador has finally confirmed that she is now a mother, which explains her abrupt showbiz hiatus.

The young actress and her partner Markus Paterson, both 22, revealed in a Youtube vlog on Tuesday their baby boy was born on October 20 last year. They named him Jude.

The vlog began with a footage of Janella cradling baby Jude in her hospital bed right after she gave birth to him.

In her dedication to baby Jude, Janella said in the video: “If I am going to be honest, I was quite nervous about this thing because I know how harsh the world can be.”

The couple narrated that they first knew they were expecting back in February 2020.

Before this vlog, the actress posted a photo of her and a baby on Instagram, hinting that she would soon speak up about the rumors that she indeed gave birth abroad.

“It’s time. 8 pm. Link in bio,” she wrote.

Janella and Markus revealed that they are in a relationship in September 2020.

The celebrity couple is currently in the United Kingdom.
