YouTube sensation Ivana Alawi wanted to show her self-love by buying an expensive diamond ring.

The actress said that it’s her gift for herself on her birthday according to a Youtube vlog. Alawi turned 24 last December 25.

Alawi proudly showed her 8-carat diamond ring from Luna by Drake Dustin. The ring featured not only a big rock on top, but also its band is covered with diamonds.

She added that she does need a man or to be engaged for her to own a diamond ring.

”Bakit ako mag-aantay sa lalaki? E di bilhan ko na lang sarili ko, ‘di ba? It’s just a symbol to love myself. Parang gift ko talaga siya para sa sarili ko,” she said.

Alawi said that the ring is also a form of an investment for her and she could pass it on to her future kids.

“Hindi ako engaged  I am just loved. This is my gift to myself and I’m so proud kasi because it’s a reminder to work hard for your dreams, kasi dati pangarap ko lang talaga ‘to eh. Tapos ‘di ba, naging sa akin na siya , and it’s just a dream come true,” Alawi said.

“I will treasure this tapos ‘yung mga anak ko, sila mga makakamana nito,” she added.

Alawi was named top local creator on YouTube with 10 million subscribers. (TDT)
