A man in Batangas has been shot on his foot by another man after he was confronted for stealing the wife’s underwear.

In an Inquirer report, the police said that the woman’s husband was upset over the loss of her underwear. The husband confronted the man in a nearby vulcanizing shop on Sunday night and then later on shot the victim with a handgun after a heated altercation.

“Thereafter, said suspect struck the victim once on his back with the use of a handgun of unknown caliber and shot the victim once, hitting his left foot,” the police said.

The suspect immediately left the scene while the victim was rushed to the Batangas Medical Center.

Authorities have yet to confirm if the root of the argument, the missing underwear, has been found. (TDT)
