Singer Claire Dela Fuente, who is the mother of one of the respondents on the death of flight attendant Christine Dacera, also made an appeal to President Rodrigo Duterte to ensure a fair investigation on the case.

“As a mother, umaapela rin ako sa ating Pangulong Duterte. Alam kong walang kasalanan ang anak ko,” de la Fuente told ABS-CBN News. “Humihingi ako ng tulong sa Presidente na sana magkaroon ng fair investigation para maprotektahan din ang mga karapatan ng mga inosente! We also want the truth to come out as soon as possible,” she added.

Earlier, the mother of Dacera made an appeal to the President to ensure justice will be served on the case of her daughter. They believe she was raped and killed.

The Makati City Prosecutor’s Office on Wednesday night ordered the release of three of the 11 suspects.
The court said further investigation is needed to determine the circumstances behind Dacera’s death as well as culpability of the suspects.

In a three-page resolution, the investigating prosecutor also directed the police officers to submit additional evidence, such as the DNA analysis report, toxicology/chemical analysis, and the histopath examination report.
