Bahrain’s Nationality, Passports and Residence Affairs (NPRA) has announced that all types of visas will be extended until January 21,2021 including visitor’s visa.

The NPRA will automatically extend visas without the need to apply for renewal, the agency said.

The visa extension processing will be free of charge.

The extension will help visitors to correct their current visa status if they want to stay longer in Bahrain, or prepare and arrange flights if and when it’s available.

The NPRA has taken care some of the country’s visitors since the start of the pandemic and addressed their visa concerns.

The government said that it’s part of their humanitarian mission to help stranded passengers and visitors in Bahrain amid the coronavirus pandemic.
