Sharjah has now allowed the resumption of social events starting November 1.

Under the directives Sheikh Sultan bin Mohammed bin Sultan Al Qasimi, Crown Prince and Deputy Ruler of Sharjah, the Executive Council of the Sharjah, social events will now be permitted in halls, hotels, and homes, subject to precautionary measures.

The decision added that strict safety regulations in accordance with the Emergency Crisis and Disaster Management Committee in the Emirate of Sharjah must be followed in events that will be held in halls or hotels, while parties that will be organized in homes must have prior approval from the nearest suburban council.

The Committee said it will announce the set of controls and measures to be followed in such events soon.
