A former Dubai-based OFW has impressed the judges with her performance, enough to earn a standing ovation for all three hurados on ‘It’s Showtime’s’ segment: ‘Tawag ng Tanghalan’ (TNT).

Ayegee Paredes, who has recently flown back to the Philippines, is currently one of the contenders for the popular singing contest.

She sang Whitney Houston’s “I Have Nothing” giving her own flavor to the popular karaoke song.

Jaya, who serves as TNT’s head judge jested said that she even had a bottle of hand sanitizer ready to be thrown at Paredes since she was really amazed and thrilled to hear Paredes’ voice.

“It’s a blessing to hear you sing,” said Jaya.

Fellow hurados Karylle and Jed Madela were also visibly impressed by Paredes’ performance, who is now in the running to be one of the singing contests’ grand finalists should she win against other contestants in the semifinals.
