Hundreds of protesters in various cities in Italy express their frustrations over the recent restrictions posed against coronavirus disease (COVID-19).
In a report by The National, rallyists held protests in Turin, Milan and other towns after the government ordered the early closing of restaurants and cafes, cinemas, gyms, and other leisure areas.
Many of the protesters in Turin smashed store windows, set of smoke bombs, and threw bottles at police officers, according to a report by state news channel RAI.
Earlier, the national government issued an order requiring these establishments to close at 6 PM for the next 30 days after the country witness a new surge of infections for the past few weeks.
