Former military general and controversial red-tagger Antonio Parlade made a surprise move after filing his certificate of candidacy for president. Parlade will be substituting for the Katipunan ng Demokratikong Pilipino (KDP) Antonio Valdez. Valdez has withdrawn his candidacy for president over the weekend.
