Three schools in Japan received 10 million yen (AED343,855.90) each from a mysterious elderly man who visited their schools on Feb. 24.
The Nara City board of education confirmed this really happened to the three schools namely Municipal Saibi Elementary School, Kasuga Naka, and Ichijo High School.
According to a report by Sora News 24, the staff who spoke to the old man described him in his 70s.

He was handing out plastic bags of cash and said “Please use this for the children”.
The staff had no identity of the old man as he could not find him when they tried to catch up with him.
However, this was not the first time it happened.
Anonymous donations were reported last December where an elderly man also donated 30 million yen (AED1,031,527.16) in plastic bags to school staff for coronavirus prevention measures.

The school board believes that the same man donated it.
Now with the large sum of money, the city’s school board plans to use it to fund educational activities in schools. (ES)
