Syrian vlogger Basel Manadil, who is popularly known as The Hungry Syrian Wanderer, said that he feels terrible and sad after he found out that his restaurant in Las Piñas has been robbed.

Basel shared the CCTV footage of the robbery in his latest vlog.

The Syrian vlogger said that the robber “knows where he’s going” as he stole cash and “some things” from Yolo Retro Diner at Naga Road in Las Piñas.

“I think the person who did this really studied. Because when he went inside the shop, he went straight to the CCTV and he twisted it, parang alam niya kung saan ‘yung location,” he said.

The vlogger said that he and his staff discovered the incident and saw that the robber entered the restaurant through the back window.

“It’s terrible news because I never experienced anything like that… I feel really bad for our shop, I feel bad for myself, I feel bad for our employees also,” he said.

“It’s unexpected, what happened. It’s something really terrible and sad at the same time,” he added.

He said that he already reported the incident to the police.

The Syrian vlogger offers a cash reward to those who can give tips on the identity of the suspect.

Manadil gained popularity with his generous acts of kindness, including giving a house to his Filipina household helper and even helping drivers and restaurant staff amid the COVID-19 pandemic. (TDT)
