The Maritime Rescue Unit of the Dubai Police was able to recover a vehicle which reportedly slipped into the sea from a boathouse at the Fishermen’s Port in Umm Suqeim.

In a report on Gulf Today, the unit was also able to recover some jet skis which were loaded on the vehicle’s trailer.

Lt. Colonel Ali Abdullah Al Naqbi, Head of the Maritime Rescue Department at the Ports Police Station said that an Emirati wanted to decrease the number of jet skis in his vehicle so he decided to put these into his boat house. However, during the unloading process, the vehicle lost its balance and slid towards seawater.

“No harm was caused to the Emirati vehicle owner,” the police official said.

The Emirati reported the incident to the police and the maritime unit gave assistance in recovering the vehicle, the jet skis and the trailer.

The driver is reportedly safe from the incident. (TDT)
